Cinnamon stick substitution?

I have a recipe that calls for 1/2 cinnamon stick. Don’t have it! How much ground cinnamon should I use instead?

Depending on the size of the stick it would be about 1 tsp.
Be careful to not use too much, as ground cinnamon has more surface area and so it will absorb better into your food. So, depending on what your making, I would err on the small side. some recipes taste good with an over powering cinnamon taste.

If you use too much it will give a bitter taste to your recipe. If this happens, you can counter it by adding a about a teaspoon of honey or brown sugar (whichever will fit the recipe best).

Where can I get the best deal on natural beeswax candles in UK either online or in a shop or store?

I live in Peterborough and I don’t know of any shops that sell them let alone any cheap ones. I am a lover of natural beeswax candles but they are costly and I am not loaded. I would appreciate your help guys. Thanks
