Where can I find an electric warmer, used for crafts?

My mom saw one used in greeting card making. It looks like a cross between a hot plate and a mug/candle warmer. A woman set a sheet of paper right on the element, then placed crayon shavings on the paper. The shavings melted right on the paper with no ironing needed, and it created a lovely pattern for her cards. My mom thought it looked like a Corning/Corelle item, but I couldn’t find anything on their website. I haven’t found anything online…
Any ideas? I need it before Christmas, if possible!

My mom loves craft gadgets, so I want to buy her one instead of having her “make do” with an iron or electric griddle.

You can use an electric griddle. I have seen several techniques on crayon art like this and the griddle temp can be regulated so you don’t burn the paper.
