Can you use Yankee Candle wax tarts in a Scentsy warmer?
For those of you who have a Scentsy warmer or know what one is: I ordered a Scentsy warmer (I have not received it yet) but I didn’t really like any of the scents offered. I am a Yankee Candle girl and was wondering if I could use Yankee’s wax tarts in the Scentsy warmer. Have you done this?
Yankee tarts are made from paraffin wax which is a petroleum-based product. Paraffin wax tarts have a higher melting temperature than tarts made with vegetable waxes so they may not melt very well in a warmer that uses a low wattage light bulb.
If you aren’t finding the scents you like in Scentsy, look at some other brands of tarts made with vegetable waxes – There are several other candle companies out there that make vegetable wax tarts, melts, bars or whatever they call them so you are not stuck with using only those made by Scentsy.
